During its live annual press conference announcing its preliminary results for the 2022 fiscal year, Siemens AG allowed questions from journalists in attendance as well as from press representatives connected virtually. To do so, the global technology group used a new service from established online event service provider Techcast. In addition to press conferences, the technology will soon also be used at the annual general meetings of listed companies.

Techcast has developed an online academy for Weleda, offering training courses on Weleda products for a specialist audience, primarily pharmacies and specialist retailers, but also doctors and alternative practitioners. In addition, Techcast is the technical service provider for the production of live webinars, which are streamed via the online academy.

Europe's leading digital conference, DLD, presented itself in a new online format in 2021: over three days, with 39 sessions and 57 prominent speakers. The livestream took place on Techcast's online event platform, including chat, private messages, and matching. With live broadcasts from the Techcast green screen studio and contributions from experts from around the world, the event pursued a diverse hybrid approach.

In March 2021, the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre opened its Quantum Integration Centre – a hub for the IT technologies of the future. This was followed by a discussion with VIP guests from Bavarian politics and science, as well as experts connected remotely, about the role of quantum computing. The Techcast team took care of the entire video production and livestream for the professional implementation of this important event.

Techcast has been recording presentations at the annual conference of the DGVS, the German Society for Gastroenterology, Digestive and Metabolic Diseases, for several years. In addition, we have created a digital platform where this and other content is available to medical professionals for training purposes.
