DLD was co-founded in 2005 by Managing Director Steffi Czerny. The conference organized by the Munich-based media group Burda is regarded as Europe's leading digital conference. Approach
In times when a physical event could not take place, the DLD team demonstrated flexibility and digital expertise.
With Techcast's technical expertise and many years of experience, a hybrid online event was produced and broadcast live to over 4,500 participants. The video signals were switched live between what was happening in the studio and external speakers from all over the world.
Techcast's virtual event platform gave the conference an individual digital home. All interested parties were able to register in advance on the DLD corporate design platform and then received confirmation and reminder emails.
In order to bring the global community closer, particular emphasis was placed on networking. Thanks to the Q&A function, online participants took part directly in the discussion and shared their emotions and impressions in the chat. All guests were also able to send personal messages and hold video conversations with very personal matches. The cooperation partner and matching expert Chemistree ensured this with sophisticated algorithms.
