We produce online events and aim to add value in terms of sustainability. Online events are resource-efficient, environmentally friendly, and therefore more sustainable. The technologies on which digital events are based promote social (greater inclusion), economic (less organizational effort), and ecological (lower CO2 emissions) sustainability.
With our digital product virtual event platform and our livestreaming , we aim to make participation in digital events even easier, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone.
According to the BMU's guidelines for the sustainable organization of events, travel is the main source of environmental impact at events. To reduce mobility, the first measure proposed is to hold digital events. If it is not possible to hold an event entirely digitally, livestreaming can reduce the amount of travel required by participants.
As a company, we avoid and reduce CO2 emissions by
- green electricity
- Working from home
- Traveling by train
- Digital team meetings
- Energy-efficient equipment
However, online events and our company also produce unavoidable emissions. That is why we have calculated and offset them. Specifically, in Germany—where they were generated.
