(Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our innovative technology platform. Our main product is an advanced platform that allows customers to broadcast their events live—whether traditionally from a studio, from an on-site event, or completely digitally from a virtual studio in a browser.

As a company, we rely on state-of-the-art technologies, including Node.js in the backend, Vue.js for our frontend applications, and PHP for selected websites, whereby PHP plays more of a supporting role and is not the main focus.

We are still in the early stages of infrastructure development, which means that as part of the team, you can play a significant role in shaping and implementing our infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our DevOps infrastructure
  • Implementation and scaling of our video conferencing solution based on Node.js and mediasoup
  • Ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our applications
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth deployment processes
  • Setting up and maintaining an efficient cloud infrastructure for transmitting and recording video conferences
  • Integration and monitoring of service providers in the field of video streaming

What you bring to the table

  • Several years of experience in the development and maintenance of DevOps infrastructures
  • Experience in hosting PHP apps (legacy Drupal projects)
  • Experience in scaling video conferencing solutions based on Node.js and mediasoup
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure & Docker
  • Experience in monitoring complex systems
  • Experience with databases (MySQL & MongoDB)
  • Experience in the field of backup systems
  • Basic understanding of livestreaming
  • Experiences with Sentry
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js)
