We’re looking for an experienced professional to fill the position of Project Manager for digital and hybrid events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for livestreaming projects—from technical planning through to live execution—on our virtual event platform, Techcast Event Cloud.

Project Manager for Livestreaming & Online Events (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Project Management: Leading and coordinating livestreaming projects (such as webcasts, online conferences, and corporate events) from concept to implementation on our own virtual event platform, Techcast Event Cloud
- Live Streaming Responsibilities: Technical management of live streams—encoder configuration, redundancy/failover setups, multi-camera production, and transmission quality—from pre-production through the live broadcast
- Team leadership: Leading and guiding the project management team during event preparation and implementation
- Quality Control: Ensuring streaming quality standards (video, audio, latency, reliability) and adherence to schedules
- Budget management: Monitoring and managing project budgets
What you bring to the table
- A completed degree or vocational training in media technology, event technology, film and television production, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in technical project management
- Live Streaming Experience: Demonstrable experience in the technical execution of live streams
- Excellent knowledge of video editing and post-production
- Proficiency in using DaVinci Resolve and vMix (or comparable production and media software)
- Experience with production workflows for on-location shoots and in green-screen studios
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical issues in an understandable way
- Organizational skills: Structured approach to work and strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility: Class B driver's license, willingness to travel for events and flexible working hours
