The implementation of live webinars from the green screen studio in Munich

About the Georg Thieme publishing house

Founded in 1886, Georg Thieme Verlag is one of the largest providers in the field of German-language medical communication. The publishing house offers a broad portfolio of products such as textbooks, specialist journals, electronic products and services for students, medical specialists and other medical professionals. Increasingly, content for individual target groups is being linked together and supplemented by services.

In order to offer the various target groups a contemporary way of imparting knowledge, the publishing house relies on online training in the form of webinars, among other things. This also exploits the advantages of real-time communication. Webinar participants can access the speakers' expertise in an interactive form and ask their questions.

Approach

The Thieme team is supported by Techcast both in the preparation phase and during the webinar so that they can focus fully on the content of the webinars. In addition to the targeted selection of the right marketing channels, a good landing page is crucial for generating participants. Techcast creates conversion-maximizing registration pages for this purpose, which are individual in branding and design and enable quick and easy registration with just a few GDPR-compliant form fields.

The Techcast studio was chosen as the location for the live broadcast: the experienced team and high-quality camera technology guarantee a smooth process and, if necessary, an immediate response.

Webinars are no different to real life: Organizers are always interested in their target groups and audience. Techcast provides the following KPIs as part of comprehensive reporting: registered participants and no shows, participants in real time, conversion rate, download click rate, Q&A and voting. This allows those responsible to analyze the project and learn more about their customers and participants.

Result

The live webinar was a success for everyone involved: almost 1,000 registrations for the live broadcastwere generated. The video published on YouTube afterwards also reached twice as many viewers.
