How the use of a comprehensive webinar platform pays off for the overall strategy

About the ISPO Network and the ISPO Academy

ISPO Munich is the world's largest multi-segment trade fair for sports. The ISPO network also includes the ISPO Beijing and ISPO Shanghai trade fairs, which take place annually in China. In close partnership with the industry association European Outdoor Group (EOG), OutDoor by ISPO will be held at the Munich exhibition center from 2019.

As an important part of ISPO's digital strategy, the ISPO Academy offers conferences, seminars and training programs for the sports business worldwide.

Approach

Techcast has built a webinar platform for the ISPO Academy that is highly customized and precisely adapted to the needs and look and feel of ISPO. Retailers and manufacturers have access to webinars and presentations via various authorization models. The videos are produced both in the Techcast studio in Munich and at other locations (e.g. at ISPO Munich). Particularly high-quality content is offered via a store function as part of a paid content model.

With the Academy, ISPO is pursuing a 360-degree strategy: retailers and manufacturers are reached with valuable content all year round, even between trade fairs. In order to do justice to ISPO's international orientation, the media library was launched in both German and English in the first step.
