AI Developer (m/f/d)
Make our event platform intelligent. For organizers - and their audience.
We are developing a modern SaaS platform for digital events - and AI will be a central component of this. Whether automatic summaries, real-time transcripts, intelligent interaction or smart backend assistance: we want to use AI where it brings real benefits - not as a buzzword.
We are looking for you: an AI developer with a technical focus and a flair for pragmatic solutions.
Your tasks
You design and develop AI functions for organizers and participants: from content summaries and moderation to chatbots or recommendations
You integrate existing foundation models (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI) into our cloud-native event platform
You work closely with our existing development team (Typescript-based) on the connection of AI modules to the backend
You don't develop AI features in a vacuum, but closely in line with product goals, user flows and real feedback
You bring in your own microservices or data pipelines as required to make AI functionality efficient and scalable
What you bring with you
3+ years of experience in production-related software development, of which at least 1 year with a focus on AI/ML
Knowledge of the use of AI APIs & Foundation Models (e.g. NLP, Vision, Speech, Generative AI)
Solid programming skills in Python or Typescript, with experience in API design and software integration
Experience with tools or frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, MediaPipe, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI or similar
A good understanding of prompt engineering, model parameters, costs and limitations of AI systems
Enjoy collaboration, product thinking and pragmatic implementation
Good knowledge of German (at least B2) and solid knowledge of English
At Techcast we offer you
A real product with real users - not a research project in a vacuum
Plenty of creative freedom and short decision-making paths
An interdisciplinary, experienced development team that is open to new technologies
Remote work or space in our Munich office with two sunny roof terraces
Continuous training through online courses, participation in conferences and internal workshops
Regular events (barbecue on the roof terrace, Christmas party, excursions)
Flexible working hours and a collegial atmosphere
